The first Internet Exchange Point in South Texas is taking place in MDC and will complement the “Gateway to Mexico” that we bring to the industry. Content and Network Providers will come together to interconnect and exchange traffic in a neutral peering ecosystem.

This connectivity solution comes after a round of meetings with decision makers in Mexico who expressed their interest in peering with content providers in McAllen to save long-haul distances, increase network performance, and reduce latency.
