GTT adds Fortinet Secure SD-WAN
Earlier this month GTT Communications, Inc. announced that it has expanded its SD-WAN service offering by adding Fortinet Secure SD-WAN as a technology option.
GTT delivers Fortinet Secure SD-WAN as a managed service and supports any last-mile access solution to meet specific client requirements for advanced security, application performance and cost efficiency. The addition of Fortinet enhances GTT’s existing managed SD-WAN service offerings for enterprise clients.

Windstream adds 1,000 long-haul fiber miles
Windstream Wholesale announced recently that it is using Infinera’s FlexILS line to provision a route from Salt Lake City to Portland and Seattle. The additional fiber will provide redundant, low-latency connectivity to markets in the Pacific Northwest. As part of an ongoing effort to boost its long-haul network, Windstream also announced it has increased the capacity of several major routes to 48 terabits per second.
