Telefónica Movistar has made available to its users free access to the official Mexican government website in order to keep them informed and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Mexico City introduces information services for COVID-19 via SMS in collaboration with C3ntro Telecom
The objective is to be able to have a communication channel with citizens through which they can get guidance and receive reports on matters related to this disease. To use it, people should send a free text message (sms) from their cell phone with the word COVID- 19 to the number 51515. They will receive a short questionnaire about symptoms and risk factors associated with COVID- 19.

LOGIX Fiber Networks Offers Up to Three Months Free Service in Response to COVID-19 to Help Businesses Go Remote
To help businesses adjust to the disruptions caused by COVID-19, LOGIX Fiber Networks is launching a new program to provide its Business Voice Cloud service with special pricing, including up to three months free, when a company signs up for a new Business Voice Cloud with hosted PBX solution. This program is available immediately to new and existing business customers through the end of April.
The company has also signed the Federal Communications Commission’s “Keep Americans Connected Pledge,” promising for the next 60 days to not terminate service to small business customers because of their inability to pay their bills due to the disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic and waiving any late fees that customers incur because of their economic circumstances.
