Independent Study Highlights Productivity Gains from GTT SD-WAN
GTT Communications, Inc. (NYSE: GTT), the leading global cloud networking provider to multinational clients, today announced the results of a commissioned Total Economic ImpactTM (TEI) study conducted by Forrester Consulting. The study examines the business benefits and returns on investment (ROI) generated by GTT SD-WAN.

Cloudflare Grows Network and Launches Performance and Cryptography Solutions in Q2
Cloudflare, a leading Internet security, performance, and reliability company, today announced that it protects and optimizes more than 18 million Internet properties as of the second quarter of 2019, an increase of more than two million from last quarter. This is made possible through Cloudflare’s global network, which spans more than 180 cities in 80 countries and counts approximately ten percent of the Fortune 1,000 as paying customers.
Cloudflare announced a number of partnerships in the second quarter of 2019. Tencent Cloud, one of the world’s leading providers of cloud computing and Internet value-added services, joined the Bandwidth Alliance.
Now, joint customers of Cloudflare and Tencent Cloud pay zero data transfer fees for all traffic between their networks outside of China. Cloudflare also partnered with analytics platforms such as Chronicle Security, Datadog, Elastic, Looker, Splunk, and Sumo Logic to enhance Internet performance and security analytics.
Shared customers can now view security events and traffic trends from any of their Internet properties while combining Cloudflare logs with other data sources.
Windstream adds Slack to its unified communications and meeting services
Windstream Enterprise announced Tuesday that it has integrated office communications platform Slack into its unified communications portfolio.
Windstream’s business customers are now able to tap into Slack via its Office Suite UC and HD Meeting applications. Slack has become a popular office work platform because it cuts down on the number of inter-office emails while also providing specific channels for office teams to communicate and collaborate with each other.
Another benefit for using Windstream’s deployment of Slack includes the ability to launch an OfficeSuite UC call or virtual meeting within a Slack channel.
C3ntro Telecom bets on the “Home Office”
C3ntro Telecom offers various tools to optimize work at home or at home, recently approved by the Senate of the Republic.
